“Think of this booklet as an instructional manual; not to build a boat or toy, but to allow a new life in you. Many times, when people start a project, they want to try to do it on their own. In order to do this, they cast aside the instructions. But, it never works! What results is frustration and an end product that falls short of being right.
Sad to say, but many try to get to Heaven the same way. Trying to do it on their own, they cast aside God’s blueprint for salvation. The end result is years of frustration, heartache and disappointment. In the end they fall short of the desired goal.
If there is one thing in this life that is most meaningful, it is to be at peace with God. To be able to enjoy a personal relationship with the Father is a comfort beyond compare; however, that comfort can only come through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ. Because of man’s sin, he is at war with God and himself. To be at peace, he must accept God’s plan of salvation.
Man fell away from God and His purpose for mankind.
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful… (Rom. 1:21a).
But God was not content to let man remain in his sinful condition. God loves each of us so much, He sent His only Son to make the way of peace.
Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1).
In Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For He is our peace.. (Ephesians 2:13-14).
This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners… (I Timothy 1:15).
