Sample Inside Message:

Most of us feel like a child at this time of year. As Thanksgiving rolls around, we stuff ourselves full of turkey and all the trimmings. The next day we travel to the mall to fight the crowds for that once-in– a-lifetime deal that comes around every year.

Then, we have a whole month to prepare for Christmas. We decorate the house with lights, trim the Christmas tree, select presents for our loved ones, sing carols… and the list of activities goes on and on….

(Text Withdrawn)

…What happens after we take down all those decorations and cart our tree to the curb? Are we feeling the so-called “spirit of the season” when all of our recently opened presents become yesterdays news?

The Boy grew, lived a perfect life, and died on the cross for the sins of all mankind. He had a purpose for coming to earth. I Timothy 1:15 tell us that “Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners.”

The Bible further instructs us that “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

We needed His payment to pay for our sins. Without His work on the cross, we would be facing an eternity in the lake of fire. There would be no hope, no peace, no joy, and no rest.

Jesus Christ didn’t remain in the grave. He defeated death, so that we may have life through what He has completed.” (Romans 4:25) He is now the Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus.

You can have an eternal life in heaven. By recognizing that you are a sinner in need of a Savior, simply put your faith in trust in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ to save you. (I Corinthians 15:1-4)

When we place our faith and trust in Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, we are guaranteed a home in heaven someday.

The true “spirit of the season” is the work of Jesus Christ. Because of what He has done, we can celebrate every day of the year. By faith in His work, the end of the Christmas story is the beginning of eternity for us.
