MESSAGE:

“The word “trick” means to play a joke on someone. Some tricks are called “pranks” – things that are mischievous. This means that they could be harmful; for example, splashing paint on cars, waxing windows, or throwing things such as eggs or tomatoes.
No one really wants anyone to play tricks on them. However, Satan – called the devil – is tricking people into believing that regardless how they live or whether they believe in God and the Bible, it makes no difference – that they are O.K. Making people believe that they are going to Heaven when they are going to Hell is the devil’s greatest trick! Don’t you believe him, for the Bible says that Satan is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44).
To “treat” means to provide something that pleases. What a treat God has given to poor, lost sinners in the person of His beloved Son Jesus Christ! “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
God sent not His Son to condemn the world, because the world already was condemned. All are born sinners; so God sent His Son that through Him man could be saved.
Jesus Christ does not save people by the life He lived, but by the death that He died. Christ dies for our sins. He paid the full price.
This is how God treats the sinner who comes to Christ – He forgives all of his sin! No longer let the devil trick you: rather receive Christ as God’s free gift. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23). The greatest treat is yet to come – a home in Heaven for all who believe!”
