No Room

no room

Do you have room for Jesus Christ? Comes in a pack of 50.

MESSAGE:
“When the Lord Jesus came down from Heaven to this earth to be born of a virgin, we read that there was no room in the inn. Thus, He was born in a stable among the cattle. The Lord Himself said that the foxes have their dens, the birds of the air have their nests, “but the Son of Man hath not where to lay His head” (Matthew 8:20).

It also is stated that the Lord Jesus “came unto His own, but His own [Israel] received Him not” (John 1:11). Is it any wonder that the prophet Isaiah spoke concerning the Lord, “He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief” (Isaiah 53:3)?

In the hour of greatest need, there was none to help; all forsook Him and fled. While in the Garden of Gethsemane, His disciples were asleep. We read in Luke 22:43 that an angel came to strengthen Him. However, while suffering on the Cross, there was no angel, for even the Father had forsaken Him, all because the Lord Jesus was paying the price for man’s sin.  The purpose of Christ’s coming to the earth was not mainly to set a good example, but, rather, He came to die for the sins of all who would believe and receive Him as their Savior (1 Timothy 1:15).

The Bible says that the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ (Romans 6:23). Thus, God is offering to all who will receive Christ, a free gift – with no strings attached! “Therefore as by the offence of one, judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of One [Jesus Christ] the free gift came upon all men unto justification by life (Romans 5:18).

Today the world at large has no room for Christ.

“Room for pleasure, room for business,

But for Christ the crucified,

Not a place that He can enter,

In the heart for which He died.”

Some even have room for religion, that is, they have a form of godliness, but are without spiritual power.

This is a personal question: “Have you any room for Christ Jesus?” If not, make room for Him today. God is calling you in grace. Today is the time to accept Him; tomorrow you may call in vain!”
