You
will find it hard to discover a Bible conference that would be closer to
the "old time - brush arbor" Revival Meetings of a century ago than this one!
The Adults will have charished
memories of what "Church" and "Revival Meetings" used to be like.
These
are the kind of meetings upon which the American "Spiritual Awakenings" of the
past were built.
Your
children and grandchildren will enjoy and appreciate the "simplicity" of what
"church" used to be like and should continue to be like. You'll enjoy great
fellowship, singing the familuar hymns, hearing heart-touching testimonies
followed by challenging and thought provoking preaching. Each service will
include some great "down-home" gospel music provided by the Farnum Family
Bluegrass Singers and other.
You
will be entertained by the "antics" and "speriments" of "Professor, Dr. Hill
Billy" as he takes you behind the scenes of his "Ozark Labratory."
You
are invited to come and enjoy the ministry of Bible believing, Grace Gospel
Preachers under the "Big Top!" I have invited five other Bible teachers to come
and preach the Word each morning: Rick Owsley; Neil Schnaath; Ed Jeude; Dennis
Blankenship and Joel McGarvey.
Come ride horses till your "Heart's
Content." Enjoy being free from the hustle and bustle of a busy and troubled
world for a week. Let your children and grand children enjoy the great outdoors
in "Jesse James" and "Daniel Boone" country.
This is a primitive camp
but, a very nice and restful location. We make no charge for
camping other than asking for a free-will offering to pay for the meals that
are served "Cowboy Style," and to give an honorarium for the featured Bible
Teacher.
Campers are encouraged to
bring their campers (...some
electrical hookup BUT...ON A FIRST COME; FIRST SERVED BASIS), tents and
bedrolls. Children are welcome, but parents must provide activities for them and
their care.
Can a
horse teach you something about your relationship to God and your family and
spouse? You better believe it! Cowboy, Horse Trainer Dennis Cappel, director of
"Hope Givers Ranch" will be on hand to give an exciting demonstration of what
horse training and the strengthing of the home and family have in common. Cowboy
Dennis says, "Everything I needed to know about my SPOUSE, I Learned from my
HORSE!!!!!
There will be opportunity for swimming and picnicking at
a beautiful private lake near by. You can ride horses and play cowboy games, do
barrel racing, play musical chairs on horseback and, try your hand at roping the
dummy steer or, you can relax with a good game of horse shoes or a rousing game
of Mexican Train.

Tell your friends to bring an easy chair or hammock-a
good book to read and then take a "siesta" in the afternoon or just do what you
want. There are some modest motels near by for those who do not want to "rough
it."

Perhaps you'd like to take your family for a trail ride
or walk in the Daniel Boone National Forest which joins the camp
property.
